Scott Carter, originally from Gainesville, Georgia, has been married to his college sweetheart Joni, and they have 4 children John Luke lives in Nashville, TN.   Micah is married to Devan and they have stayed here in Jackson County.  They also have Zechariah and Anna Beth who are also still in the area.   Scott earned his undergraduate degree from Covenant College and attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.  He has served churches in Mississippi, South Carolina, Virginia, and now North Carolina.

Jeff and his wife, Michelle, are from Columbus, GA.  They have three boys, Sean, Luke and Eli and a husky shepherd named Budreaux.  Jeff earned his B.A. from Columbus State University and his M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served churches in Georgia, Louisiana and was the Baptist Campus Minister at Western Carolina for five years before coming on board at Webster.  He is our Pastor of Celebrate Recovery and our Pastor of College Students.

Youth & Creative Worship Pastor – Jeff Parker

Jeff and his wife, Tiffany, moved here from Arizona in 2016.  They have a daughter, Chelsea, and three boys, AJ, Judah and Josiah.  Jeff earned his A.A. from Fruitland Baptist Bible College.  He has been in full time ministry since 2008, loves music, classic cars, family time, his GroundZero ‘utes’ and somewhat less than healthy food!

 Facilities & Grounds – Ronnie Treadway

 

 

 

 

Ronnie has been serving Webster Baptist  as the Facilities & Grounds Coordinator.  He is married to his wonderful wife Amber and they have a daughter, Chelsea who is married to Brett Whitmire.  Ronnie is an avid Florida State fan where he was an All-American Track and Field athlete.  Ronnie has served as a deacon in the past and he and Amber are very active in the life of the church.

 

Children’s Ministry Coordinator – Jordan Parsons

Jordan Parsons is the Children’s Director at WBC. Jordan grew up in Sylva, N.C., and attended Western Carolina University, where she received a B.S. in Communications, a B.A. in Spanish, and her M.A.T in teaching. Jordan also works as a part-time instructor for the Intensive English Program at WCU, where she gets to teach students from countries all over the world. She is married to her husband, Jonathan, who is also a teacher and is a soccer coach. She and Jonathan have two boys, Micah and Kade, and a baby on the way. The Parsons’ family are active in many sporting events in the community, and enjoy all the activities the mountains have to offer. Jordan has been involved in WBC since her teen years, and she loves working with WebKidz and their families.

Nursery Coordinator – Lindsi Cauley

Lindsi Cauley serves as the Nursery Director at WBC.  Lindsi is originally from Elizabeth City, NC but moved to Western NC to receive her B.S in Recreational Therapy from Western Carolina University before eventually becoming the Senior Center Program Coordinator at the Jackson County Department on Aging of Sylva, NC.   She is married to her wonderful husband Jeremy who is an eleventh-grade History teacher at Smoky Mountain High School.  Outside of work, Lindsi loves to spend time clogging, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family.

Sheila Bennett is a native of North Carolina.  She was born in Asheville and lived in the Jackson County area until she was through with college.  She has lived in many other places over the years.  She came back home to stay in 2011.   She is married to Max Bennett.    They have 3 children.  Elizabeth lives in Washington D.C.  Julie is  married to  Paul Slagle.  They live in Lousiville, KY and one daughter, Avery and a second daughter, Charlotte (due in October).  Matthew MacFarlane is married to Jamie and have 3 children Johnathan, Bella and Ryan.  They are loving being grandparents.
