COLLEGE/CAREER MINISTRY

The College Ministry at Webster loves the students of Western Carolina and Southwestern Community College!   Our church does not have a campus minister at this time.  Campus Outreach, however, is based at our church.  You can reach Brody Henson at brody.henson@campusoutreach.org.    We want students who attend Webster to connect with Christ and a local body during their college experience.  Our services are at 9:00 and 11:00 on Sundays.  Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.  We have opened one adult Sunday School class called the Genesis Study at 10:15 am.  This class will run over into the 11:00 service, so you may have to leave early or go to the 9:00 service.  You will  learn how science confirms creation and not evolution.  Mel Livernois has been to seminars and has studied this in depth and is excited to share how God did create the world.  Come and get challenged!

   

 

Directions:

From Main Entrance of WCU:  Coming out of the main entrance on campus, turn RIGHT onto HWY 107 towards Sylva and travel 1.8 miles, then turn LEFT at the traffic light onto Old Settlement Rd. and travel 2.5 miles, Webster Baptist Church will be on your LEFT.

From Back Entrance of WCU:  Follow old 107 (Old Cullowhee Road) to the stop light at new 107.  Take a right and immediately get in the left turning lane and take a left on South River Road.  Follow this to the stop sign.  Take a left on Webster Road.  Cross the bridge and the church is straight ahead.

From Southwestern Community College:  Turn LEFT out of the main entrance of Southwestern Comm. College onto Webster Rd. travel 1.4 miles and you will run right into Webster Baptist Church!

From Hwy 441:   Turn onto Webster Rd. by Top Cat Exxon and travel about 3 miles and Webster Baptist Church will be on your right.

Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to serve while you are in college.  Sometimes you can even earn credits for a class.  If you desire to work with our children’s ministry, please get a packet at the children’s check in table at the 11 service.  Everyone has to have a background check.  Below are ways to get involved with ministry here at WBC.  Contact the office if you are interested in volunteering at WBC.  Due to COVID, we have limitations in some areas.
